LinkedIn Post 12: Community Knowledge
Communities hold information algorithms don't have:
• Local context (labour market realities, skill gaps, actual barriers)
• Lived experience (what poverty looks like, what stability requires)
• Priorities (what matters most when resources are limited)
• Trade-offs (how to balance competing needs)
• Early warning signals (emerging problems before algorithms detect them)
When community voice gets replaced by algorithmic assumptions, this knowledge is lost.
SVGA-VOICE embeds genuine dialogue. Communities shape weightings. Communities influence scoring.
This isn't just ethically right. It produces better decisions.
